It's been way too long since I put anything here, so yeah... Anyway, what precipitated the update is that I'm uploading  the various installments of the short story cycle I wrote for the class of the same name.  What a cycle should be, ideally, is a set of short stories sharing themes, characters, and motifs.  The stories should be able to stand on their own, while also being enriched by being read with the others.  Examples of the form are Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson, In Our Time by Hemingway, and Ghostwritten by David Mitchell. So, my stories should be read in the following order: Heaven is a Loft Apartment The Fix Heat Ficti

Oh dear. It seems that people are looking at this now, so I thought an update might be appropriate.  On the NaNoWriMo front, I won for the first time with my genre mishmash, the prologue of which is uploaded for your reading pleasure (if your reading pleasure entails unedited prose.) Even though I still have about 25-30k words of that left, it'll be going on the back burner for while because I'm taking a short story cycle class next semester (keep an eye out for the products of that here) that will keep me busy, but the main reason is that I've been selected to compete in Persnicketese (https://www.deviantart.com/persnicketese)'s OCT, Hunt for Deliverance. My first round is again

My audition for Persnicketese (https://www.deviantart.com/persnicketese)'s Hunt for Deliverance OCT is up, so check that shit out (no seriously, check it out (no seriously, it's kinda shit)). Whether I end up getting in or not, it'll definitely be worth a look. If you're interested, it's a rare writing OCT, so if comics or visual art aren't your thing, think about auditioning.  The more entrants, the merrier. On the NaNoWriMo front, I'm currently sitting at 34,145 words, which is on pace to finish. The idea well hasn't run dry on me yet, so I should make it to the end. The quality of the writing, on the other hand is lacking, and this very well may end up being a 50,000 word out

Hello! :wave:

On behalf of #SixWordStories, I would just like to welcome you to the Group!

We have many ways for you to get involved, although all involve you being a Member, so I apologise about that. If you have past stories, just submit them to Freestyle, and it'll be accepted. We also have Prompts, but they're a bit more restrictive... More information about them is displayed here. We have listed our guidelines here, which includes our definition on What is a Six Word Story? to help you. ^^;

We also have an Inspiration Project and a Mini-Competition, so please participate if you are interested!

And just as an extra note, it may take a few days to accept your piece because we don't want to bombard our members and such, so we apologise about that in advance. :nod:

That's it. If there are any queries, please don't hesitate to contact either me or =mode-de-vie. :love:
There you go, another :llama: for your collection! I also do poems if you're interested check them out here: [link]
